Mercy Tech Mission is partnering with Heart for Africa in an exciting new training program focused on road maintenance and repair. Once the necessary heavy duty equipment is purchased, our experienced instructors will begin training new candidates in the area of gravel screening and road repair.
The ability to improve the road and walking path system on the campus will mean less wear and tear on mission vehicles and increased safety for all the children and staff who live and work there.

A major focus for Mercy Tech Mission is the training work we are doing in southern Africa through our ministry partners, Heart for Africa.
Project Canaan is the location of HFA’s children’s campus in Eswatini, and it’s also home to our Africa Field Directors, Ross and Laurie MacPherson.
Ross is in charge of the Vehicle Maintenance Department at Project Canaan, where he works daily with our automotive students.
Our goal is that as our students develop their skills, that they will come to a place where they can write the government exams and become licensed mechanics.
We invite you to partner with Ross and Laurie in this exciting and life-changing work.
To do so, please go to the Donation Form below and choose option 2. Eswatini Training Initiative from the drop-down menu. You can send a short message to Ross and Laurie in the comments box, and also select whether it is a one-time gift or ongoing monthly support.

Thank you so much for supporting the work of Mercy Tech Mission, and continuing to help us Change Lives, One Skill at a Time.
The MacPhersons live in the recently completed guesthouse at Project Canaan, where they will also be hosting our short-term volunteers during their training visits to Africa.
Laurie will not only assist Ross with hosting our volunteer teams, but she will also be working closely with the Children’s Campus kitchen staff to help create healthy and delicious menus for any of the children who have special dietary needs.
